Commercial Water Damage in Pleasanton Office Gets Fast Cleanup
A pipe burst left a large amount of water damage in the hallway of this office in Pleasanton. SERVPRO techs arrived quickly and got to work extracting the water off the tile flooring to prevent delamination from occurring and save the owner the hassle and cost of replacing the flooring. The sheetrock absorbed about an inch of water behind the baseboards and the carpet in each office needed lifting back to dry the substrate underneath. The baseboards throughout the hallway needed removing and the techs drilled weep holes to assist with drainage and drying to avoid controlled demo actions that would require removal of the sheet-rock on the walls and then replacement before the office could reopen. This allows for airflow to dry the interior wall cavities and the replacement of the baseboards covers up the weep holes cleanly.
